Sylvia started her doula journey in 2010 during her time through nursing school in Santa Cruz County. Seeing a big need to carry more heart into her work, she decided to make a career shift to help mothers in need with a focus on those in recovery. Sylvia now carries space in her office in Placerville, CA. Opening this space is an answered prayer in returning to this work, and she hopes to reach the same communities and families in need to remind them the strength of community.
